Symantec® Endpoint Encryption 7.0—Removable Storage Edition enables businesses of all sizes to maximize the productivity benefits of using removable storage devices while minimizing the risks these devices pose to data security. It is designed to protect all data on USB, FireWire, Compact Flash, iPod, and other storage devices and media. The solution enables the use of multi-factor authentication to safeguard access to data stored on removable storage devices and removable media.

Symantec® Endpoint Encryption 7.0—Full Disk Edition is a full disk encryption solution designed to protect all data on the hard drive of a Microsoft® Windows®–based machine. It allows administrators to encrypt the laptop’s hard drive to ensure safe harbor and, more importantly, to prevent the exposure of sensitive data should a laptop be lost or stolen. This solution enables the use of multi-factor authentication to extend the security of user log-on and protect access to data stored on Windows systems.
